1. This is an application for condonation of delay in filing

appeal against the judgment and order dated 14.05.2025 passed

by the Special Court in Special Case No. 144 of 2020, by which the

learned Special Court has convicted the applicant for the offence

punishable under Section 6 of the Protection of Children from

Sexual Offences Act and sentenced him to suffer 20 years of

imprisonment.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and

learned APP for the respondent-State.

3. For the reasons stated in the application, the delay of

24 days in filing the appeal is condoned. The application is
