1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant.

2. These are the applications for suspension of sentence

and for bail. For the offence punishable under Sections 143,

147, 323, 353, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code the

applicant - accused no.4 was convicted and sentenced for

each offence to suffer rigorous imprisonment of two month

and pay fine of Rs.1000/- for each. The fine amount has

been paid. The applicant was on bail during the trial.

3. Learned APP for the State opposed the applications.

4. I have perused the judgment and order of the

conviction passed by the trial Court. Considering the short

sentence and since the appeal which has been admitted, is

not likely to be heard soon, the sentence imposed by the

trial Court is suspended.

5. The applicant shall be released on bail on his

furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.15,000/- with one or more sureties

in the like amount.

6. The applicant is permitted to furnish cash bail surety in

the sum of Rs.15,000/- for a period of 6 weeks in lieu of

surety.

7. On being released on bail, the applicant shall furnish

his contact number and residential address to the trial Court

and shall keep updated, in case there is any change.

8. The applications are disposed of.
