1. The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that after our order dated 05 August 2024, copy of this Petition has been served upon the Respondent - The Municipal Corporation of City of Solapur. The learned counsel for the Respondent - Corporation confirms this position and seeks three weeks time to file Affidavit in Reply.

2. Let Affidavit in Reply be filed and served by 02 September 2024.

3. Since this is an old matter, we will be most reluctant to extend the time for filing Reply or for granting any further adjournment to the Petitioner. Accordingly, we clarify that if the Corporation does not file its Reply, we will proceed with the matter nevertheless without the Reply of the Corporation.

4. Rejoinder, if any, to be filed and served by 23 September 2024. The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that synopsis of arguments along with compilation of judgments that Petitioner seeks to rely upon will be filed by 23 September 2024.

5. List this Petition on 30 September 2024 at 2.30 for final disposal.

6. This Petition is to be tagged along with Writ Petition No.2835 of 2008. This latter matter should also be taken for final disposal on 30 September 2024 at 2.30 subject to overnight part- heard.
