. Heard. The petitioner is seeking writ of quo-warranto and questioning the appointments of respondent Nos. 8 to 19 whose initial contractual appointments have been regularized, which according to the petitioner is contrary to the decisions of the Supreme Court in the matter of Umarani Vs. Registrar, Cooperative Societies reported in (2004) 7 SCC 112, State of Karnataka and others Vs. Umadevi and others reported in (2006) 4 SCC 1 and State of Maharahtra and othrs Vs. Anita and others reported in (2016) 8 SCC 293 and other judgments.
