The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the judgment in Criminal Writ Petition No.752/2022 (Namdev Natthuji Ganeshkar vs. State of Maharashtra, Thr. DIG (Prisons) (East), Nagpur and anr.) dated 13/12/2022 a direction has been issued to grant benefit of Government Resolution dated 03/06/2017 in the matter of remission of sentence. The petitioner is similarly situated and seeks a similar order.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor to verify the aforesaid.
