DATE : 18th DECEMBER, 2023
P.C. :
1. In this case, this Court, vide order dated 27/07/2023,
had requested the trial Judge to complete and conclude the trial
within a period of four months from that date. The trial till
today is not concluded. However, the learned Trial Judge has
sent a request letter dated 26/11/2023 giving reasons as to why
it could not be concluded. The letter mentions that the
arguments of the complainant are already over.

2. Both the learned counsel for contesting parties present
before the Court today submit that, even the arguments on
behalf of the accused are now over and the matter is kept for
judgment.
3. In this view of the matter, the request of the trial Judge
can be accepted. The learned Judge has asked for six months
extension, but since the arguments of both the sides are over,
two months time from today, can be granted. It can be a
reasonable time to pass the judgment and order. Hence time to
conclude the trial is extended by a period of two months from
today.
