At this stage, both sides submit that there is a possibility of a settlement since the area of controversy has been narrowed considerably especially in view of the communication of 31st August 2012 at page 34 Exhibit 'C' from the University of Mumbai. The question therefore will be of the difference between the monetary benefits attached to the post of junior clerk and those attached to the post of senior clerk and consequential issues/benefits and

entitlements. If these can be resolved, then a formal judgment may not be necessary.

3. On behalf of the Management Respondents No. 5 and 6, Mr Patil seeks time since a formal meeting will have to be called of the 5th Respondent-Trust and the trustees will have to be apprised with the developments in the Writ Petition. He states that such a meeting is presently scheduled for 16th August 2023 and requests therefore that the matter be listed any time thereafter.

4. List the matter on 23rd August 2023.

5. If there is a roster change, the matter will be listed on a convenient date after the regular sitting is over, i.e., after 4:30 pm.
