1. For the reasons recorded separately, following order is passed :

ORDER

(i) Criminal Appeal No.720 of 1998 is allowed and disposed of;

(ii) The impugned judgment and order 27th August 1998 passed by learned Special Judge, Nashik in Special Case No.18 of 1989 is set aside and appellant is acquitted of all the charges.
