     ORAL JUDGMENT (PER R. D. DHANUKA, J.) :-


     1.      Rule. Learned AGP waives service of notice for

     respondent-State. Rule is made returnable forthwith and heard

     finally by consent of the parties.


     2.      By this petition filed under Article 226 of the

     Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks a writ of Mandamus

     or any other appropriate writ by directing the Sub Divisional

     Officer, Degloor to issue the Tribe Certificate in the format of

     the Central Government in favour of the petitioner belonging

     to "Mannervarlu" Scheduled Tribe.


     3.      The petitioner has been issued certificate in form-C. The

     petitioner, however, seeks such certificate in the format of the

     Central Government. It is the case of the petitioner that the

     certificate issued in favour of form-C is not accepted by various

     departments. Statement is accepted.


     4.      Case is made out for reliefs as prayed. We accordingly

     passed the following order :


                                        ORDER

(i) Writ Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause "A".

The respondent is directed to issue the Tribe

Certificate in the format of the Central Government

in favour of the petitioner belonging to

"Mannervarlu" Scheduled Tribe within two (2) weeks

from the date of communication of this order.

(ii) Rule is made absolute in the above terms. No order

as to costs.
