P.C. :

1 On 25th March 2022, the following order came to be passed :

1. The Appellant-husband's Petition for divorce has been dismissed by the Family Court, Bandra, which judgment and order is challenged in the above Family Court Appeal. It is an admitted position that the Appellant- husband has not paid the maintenance amount as directed by the Family Court to the wife and minor daughter. It appears that as of today the arrears of maintenance are in excess of Rs.3.5 lacs.

2. The Appellant-husband shall deposit a sum of Rs,3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh only) in this Court by the next date.

3. List the Family Court Appeal on 22 April 2022 for directions to report compliance. The Family Court Appeal may entail an order of dismissal, if there is non-compliance.

4. In the meantime, if the Appellant-husband satisfies the office that the deposit is made, notice be issued to the Respondent-wife, returnable 3 weeks from the date of the notice. Notice to indicate that the Appellant- husband has deposited the amount of Rs.3,00,000/- towards maintenance.

2 Mr. Kasar states that the order dated 25th March 2022 has not

been complied with.

3 Therefore, appeal dismissed. Consequently, interim application

also stands disposed.
