3. This is an application for suspension of sentence. The applicant was convicted by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class (Court No.5), Amravati in Criminal Case No.5018 of 2012 and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment till rising of the Court and to pay compensation of Rs.2,00,000/- and in default

to suffer simple imprisonment of 30 days. This judgment of conviction has been confirmed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Amravati, in Criminal Appeal No. 77 of 2019.

4. Learned Advocate submits that the applicant has good case on merits. Learned Advocate submits that the applicant has deposited a sum of Rs. 1,00,000/-. In view of this statement, substantive sentence shall remain suspended till the decision of the Criminal Application No.76 of 2022. In the meantime, the applicant shall furnish PR bond in a sum of Rs.25,000/- and one solvent surety in the like amount before the Court below.
