                CORAM : VINAY JOSHI, J.
                DATE OF JUDGMENT : 18.08.2022.

ORAL JUDGMENT :

RULE. Rule is made returnable forthwith.

2. Heard finally at the stage of admission by consent of

respective parties.

3. The only relief agitated by the petitioners is to decide their

application filed in terms of Section 207 of the Code of Criminal

Procedure. The petitioners are accused in MPID Case No. 105/2021. It

is their grievance that though they have filed application seeking to

provide copies of charge-sheet, the said application has not been

decided. The learned APP would submit that there is no difficulty in

deciding the said application, if not already decided.

4. Undoubtedly, the accused have every right to get copies of

charge-sheet rather it is a mandate of law. The petitioners/accused

have already applied to the Trial Court for supplying copies of charge-

sheet. In view of that, the Trial Court is directed to decide the said

application expeditiously in accordance with law. Rest of the

contentions raised in the petition are kept open.

5. Petition stands disposed of in above terms.

(VINAY JOSHI, J.)
