PER COURT :-

The petitioner seeks correction of caste in the school record of

his father. The petitioner has to overcome two hurdles i.e. (i) the caste of

father of the petitioner during his life time is recorded as " Hindu

Brahmabhat" in the school record, (ii) As per the Judgment of this Court,

only an obvious mistake can be corrected.

2) The petitioner also has to convince us on the point that mentioning

the category of caste in the school record can be treated as an obvious

mistake. So also, the correction can be made after a long slumber of 60-70

years.

3) At the request of petitioner, stand over to 23-07-2021.
