                   CORAM :- A.S.CHANDURKAR AND N.B.SURYAWANSHI, JJ.

DATED :- FEBRUARY 03, 2021.

Writ Petition No.3534/2016 filed by the present petitioners was decided by this Court on 31.01.2018 and the Nagpur Improvement Trust was directed to execute renewed lease in favour of the petitioners on the same terms and conditions that were contained in the indenture of lease dated 24.04.1986.

After the notice was issued in the contempt petition, the Nagpur Improvement Trust had on 06.03.2020 complied with the aforesaid order. It is however submitted by the learned counsel for the respondents that the judgment passed in Writ Petition No.3534/2016 has been challenged before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the lease now renewed is subject to the outcome of the Special Leave Petition Diary No.20579/2018 which is pending.

In view of the aforesaid compliance we do not find any reason to keep the present proceedings pending. The contempt petition is therefore disposed of.

Needless to state that the rights of the parties would be governed by the orders that would be passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

                               JUDGE JUDGE
