1 We have heard learned Counsel for the applicants for
some time.
2 Learned Counsel for the applicants submits that
inadvertently, incorrect prayers have been made. The learned
Counsel submits that the applicants are seeking quashing of the
proceedings post conviction on settlement.
3 The learned Counsel has also brought to our notice
that in the pending Criminal Appeal preferred against the

judgment and order of conviction, the appellate Court has rejected
the compromise for the reason that the offences alleged to have
been committed, for which conviction is recorded, are non
compoundable.
4 Learned Counsel for the applicants, thus, seeks leave
to amend and correct the prayer clause.
5 Leave granted.
6 Learned Counsel for Respondent No.2 seeks time to fle
affdavitiinireply.
7 Stand over to 20th January, 2022.
