Heard Mr. Sawant, learned Counsel for the petitioner.

2. Mr. Sawant submitted that petitioner Ramesh N. Ambelkar has instituted Guardianship Petition No. 46 of 2007 in this Court. By order dated 14th March, 2007, this Court directed the Authorities of Bombay Port Trust to forward all the dues payable to the father of the child Rahul Harichanra Ambelkar to the Accounts Officer of the High Court, Bombay. Accounts Officer, High Court, Bombay, in turn, was directed to invest all dues in the name of Rahul showing the petitioner as his guardian. Amount was ordered to be given to Rahul then minor upon his attaining majority.

3. Mr. Sawant submitted that Rahul was born on 6 th

November, 1991. He has completed 18 years of age on 6 th November, 2009. As he has attained majority, he may be permitted to withdraw the amount lying with the Accounts Officer, High Court of Bombay to his credit. He has taken me through the affidavit dated 2nd May, 2017 made by Ramesh N. Ambelkar and in particular paragraphs 5 onwards. Mr. Sawant, therefore, submitted that Accounts Officer, High Court, Bombay may be directed to hand over Fixed Deposit Receipt of the face value of Rs. 10,638/- lying with State Bank of India, Main Branch, Fort, Mumbai and fixed deposit receipt of face value of Rs. 93095/- lying with Corporation Bank, Fort Branch, Bombay in favour of the applicant, Rahul Harichandra Ambelkar along with accrued interest. Accordingly, Judges order is separately signed.
