1. Report submitted by the Superintendent, Women Civil Prison, Byculla, Mumbai,

recording that Ms. Mary Varghese Abraham is released in view of her period of

detention having expired, is taken on record.

2. I have perused the report submitted by the J.J. Hospital dated 9th August, 2017,

wherein it is, inter alia, recorded that there is minimal improvement in the illness of

Ms. Mary Varghese Abraham. In view thereof, J.J. Hospital shall continue with the

treatment provided to Ms. Mary Varghese Abraham and submit a report to this Court

on 12th October, 2017. In case of early discharge, the Hospital shall submit its report

to this Court four days' prior to such discharge. The doctors shall from time to time

intimate the line of treatment as well as her progress to Ms. Ruby Abraham or

Annakutty Abraham. The costs of the treatment shall be borne by the family

members of Ms. Mary Varghese Abraham. Stand over to 12th October, 2017 at 2.30

p.m. in Chambers.
