This Criminal Petition Under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik

Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) (under Section 438 of Cr.P.C.), is filed

seeking to enlarge the petitioners/accused on anticipatory bail in Crime

No.222/2024 of Bheemavaram Town Police Station, West Godavari,

registered for the offence punishable under Sections 384, 354(a), 354-

D, 509, 506 r/w 34 of IPC under Section 12 r/w 11 of POCSO Act,

2012.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned

Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State.

3. Perused the record.

4. Having heard both sides, it is seen that all the offences are

punishable with imprisonment less than seven years. It is, in these

circumstances, investigating Police are directed to comply with Section

35 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) (under Section 41-A

Cr.P.C) and all the directions given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in

the judgment in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar and other related

rulings.

5. With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in the Criminal Petition,

shall stand closed.
