                         This Court vide order, dated 08.05.2023
                   directed the respondents by way of interim

direction to apply the minimum time scale to the petitioners herein following the judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in State of Punjab and others vs. Jagjit Singh and others ((2017) 1 SCC 148). Even after lapse of one year, the respondents have not complied with the orders of this Hon'ble Court and they have not filed any intracourt appeal against the said direction given by this Court inspite of granting several adjournments on different occasions, on different grounds.

Now the learned counsel for the respondents requested time to implead the present officers as contemnors.

Learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent would submit that the respondents 1 to 3 are implementing authorities and not the 4th respondent.

Therefore, the respondents 1 to 3 shall appear before this Court on 13.09.2024, to answer as to why they have not implemented the orders, dated 08.05.2023 passed by this Court.

List the matter on 13.09.2024.
