The Court made the following order:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of

India seeking the following relief:

"...to pass an order or orders or direction more particularly one in the nature of a writ of Mandamus declaring that the inaction of Respondent No.2 in considering my representation dated 26.07.2024 to enable the petitioner college to submit the EOA Application for the year 2024-2025 in AlCTE web portal as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional besides being violative of Article 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 26.07.2024 to enable the petitioner college to submit the EOA Application for the year 2024-2025 in AlCTE web portal and pass such other order or orders..."

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for

the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that

the petitioner-college made a representation to the 2nd respondent on

26.07.2024 and the 2nd respondent has not passed any orders.

Therefore, he filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the

respondents for disposal of the representation.

4 Though petition is not maintainable in view of the judgment of the

Hon'ble Apex Court in Union of India v. P.Venkatesh1. Still, this Court

has agreed for disposal of the writ petition directing the respondents to

2019 (15) SCC 613

consider the representation dated 26.07.2024 made by the petitioner

and examine the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with

law, and communicate the said decision to the petitioner, within a

period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There

shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall

also stand closed.
