COMMON JUDGMENT:(per Sri Justice D.V.S.S.Somayajulu)
Heard learned Standing Counsel for the appellants
and Sri Rambabu Koppineedi, learned counsel for the
respondents.
2. Both the learned counsel agree that in similar
circumstances the Division Bench of this Court modified a
similar order.
3. Both the learned counsel states that if an order in
line with the order passed in W.A.No.692 of 2022 is
passed, the interest of both the parties would be
safeguarded.
4. Noting the submissions made by both the learned
counsel, the order passed by the learned Single Judge is
modified with the following directions:
"The appellants herein who are the respondents in
the writ petition shall grant notional seniority to the writ
petitioners from the date of the notification under which
they have applied and other benefits averred in the order of the learned Single Judge shall only be confined and to be
payable from the date of filing of the writ petition only".
5. With the consent of both the learned counsel, this
order is passed.
6. Writ Appeals are therefore disposed of. There shall be
no order as to costs.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous Applications, if any,
pending shall also stand dismissed.
