At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that due to stay granted by this Court, investigation could not be completed.

In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Asian Resurfacing of Road Agency Private Limited and Another v. Central Bureau of Investigation (2018) 16 SCC 299, stay is automatically vacated after six months and the same is not in force. The concerned Investigating Officer is directed to proceed with the investigation in accordance with Law.

Post the matter on 12.09.2023.
