I.A.No.2 of 2022 This petition is filed for stay of operation of the decree and judgment in MVOP.No.660 of 2015 dated 12.05.2022 on the file of Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal- cum-I Additional District Judge, Eluru pending disposal of the appeal. Learned counsel for the petitioner/ Contd., appellant/ respondent No.2 submitted that the appeal is challenged on grounds of contributory negligence of the deceased, non- joinder of insurer of the vehicle of the deceased, and also the quantum of compensation.

Since the hearing and disposal of appeal would take considerable time, it is a fit case to grant stay as prayed for on the condition that the petitioner/appellant shall deposit 50% of the amount awarded together with proportionate interest and costs within eight (8) weeks from the date of this order. If the petitioner fails to comply the condition, interim order stands vacated.
