Citation : 2022 Latest Caselaw 4616 AP
Judgement Date : 25 July, 2022

Andhra Pradesh High Court - Amravati
N.Jagan Mohan Reddy,S/O.Lakshmi ... vs The Government Of Andhra Pradesh, on 25 July, 2022
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAVI NATH TILHARI

WRIT PETITION No.17068 of 2014

JUDGMENT:-

Ms.Indrani, learned counsel, representing Sri K.Srinivas,

learned counsel for the petitioner is present.

2. Sri K.Sakthi Niranjan Guptha, learned counsel, representing

Sri N.Aswartha Narayana, learned counsel for the petitioner

submits that the matter may be adjourned to seek instructions

from the petitioner as to whether the petitioner requested for

withdrawal of the writ petition or not to Sri K.Srinivas as Sri

N.Aswartha Narayana has now been appointed as Government

Pleader for Services-I and cannot represent the petitioner any

more.

3. On 21.07.2022, the matter was adjourned on the request

made by Sri K.Sakthi Niranjan Guptha, learned counsel

representing Sri N.Aswartha Narayana.

4. The letter dated 19.07.2022 addressed to the Registrar

Judicial of this Court, contains the signature of the petitioner as

well.

5. The Court does not find any reason that Sri K.Srinivas,

learned counsel, shall file application for withdrawal of the writ

petition without instructions from the petitioner. He is the first

counsel for the petitioner and his vakalat is on record.

6. In view of the above, the request as made by Sri K.Sakthi

Niranjan Guptha ought not to have been made and particularly

when he has no instructions to say to the contrary from the

petitioner.

7. In view of the letter dated 19.07.2022, under the signatures

of the petitioner and also Sri K.Srinivas, learned counsel for the

petitioner seeking to withdraw the writ petition, the writ petition is

dismissed as withdrawn. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending,

shall also stand closed.
