                CRIMINAL APPEAL No.1249 OF 2014


JUDGMENT :-

      When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by

the learned counsel for the respondent/Accused Officer that the

respondent died on 02.01.2022 and to that effect, the death

certificate of the respondent is filed.

2. Learned Standing Counsel for Anti-Corruption Bureau and

Special Public Prosecutor, appearing for the appellant, does not

dispute the said fact.

3. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and

submissions of the learned counsel for the respondent/Accused

Officer, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.

4. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal

Appeal, shall stand closed.
