This Interlocutory Application is filed by the petitioners/A-4 & A5 under Section 389(1) of Cr.P.C seeking release of the petitioners on bail by suspending the sentence of imprisonment passed by learned II Additional Sessions Judge, Guntur, in S.C.No.742 of 2011 by judgment dated 30.07.2019.

Having regard to the facts in issue and as the petitioners are convicted for an offence punishable under Section 302 IPC and sentenced to suffer 'imprisonment for life', and as no special reasons or a case is made out, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the Application is dismissed.

IA.No.1 of 2022 This Interlocutory Application is filed by the petitioners/A-4 & A5 who were convicted in S.C.No.742 of 2011 on the file of learned II Additional Sessions Judge, Guntur, by judgment dated 30.07.2019 seeking interim bail for a period of one month inter alia stating that the marriage of the daughter of the 2nd petitioner viz., Kasturi is scheduled to be held on 22.08.2022 and that the presence of the petitioners, being own brothers, is very much required for performing the rites and customs prevailed in their community.

As per the copy of the wedding card filed along with the application, the marriage of the daughter of the 2nd petitioner is scheduled to be held on 22.08.2022 (today) 11:30 AM. By the time this application is being heard i.e., at 12:20 AM the said marriage is over and we are not inclined to consider the request of the counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners may be allowed to participate in the marriage reception.

Accordingly, the Application is dismissed.
