Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners
and the caveator for the 2nd respondent.
The counsel for the 2nd respondent submits that in the Labour Court, exhibits were marked on behalf of the Management and upon consideration of the same the award of payment of compensation for Rs.1,00,000/- was passed. But in reply the counsel for the petitioner submits that the Tribunal has no authority to pass such an award as the dispute is pursuant to the reference under Section 10 (1) (C) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. The scope of the Tribunal is very limited and it is contrary to the Judgment of this Court reported in 2006 (1) ALT Page 39.
The 2nd respondent is permitted to file counter and additional documents if any along with the said counter.

Notice.
The operative portion of the award in I.D.No.14 of 2020 dated 16.12.2021 passed by the Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Visakhapatnam is stayed until further orders.
