                    CONTEMPT CASE No.1138 OF 2019


ORDER:- (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.Praveen Kumar)


      The present Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12

of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for deliberate and willful

violation of the order dated 31.07.2019 passed by this Court in

W.P. (PIL) No.126 of 2018, the operative portion of which reads as

under:

             "17)    Since the averments in the reports prima-facie
      disclosed commission of the cognizable offence; having
      regard to the nature of the allegations made and reply of
      the 12th respondent and in view of the law laid down by the

Apex Court, in the judgment referred to above, we direct the authorities of ACB, State of Andhra Pradesh to enquire into the allegations made in the complaint and proceed in accordance with law. Since this Court has not taken into account the contents of the report, which was called for earlier, we feel that it is not necessary to furnish a copy thereof, to the petitioner. Registry is directed to return the report to the concerned, under proper acknowledgment."

2. It is stated that the order impugned in the contempt case

has been complied with. Proceedings to that effect are placed on

record vide F.I.R. in Crime No.7 of 2021 dated 01.04.2021 of C.I.D.

Police Station, Amaravathi.

3. The same is not disputed by Sri N.Bharat Babu, learned

counsel for the petitioner.

4. Having regard to the above, the Contempt Case is closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in the

Contempt Case shall stand closed.
