                   the appellants-applicants.
                         Also heard Mr. Srinivasa Reddy, learned Public
                   Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The appellants-applicants have been in prison for 5 years and 4 months. They have made a prayer for bail in view of judgment of the composite High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in Batchu Ranga Rao & Others v. The State of A.P., rep. by its Public Prosecutor, reported in 2016(3) ALT (Crl.) 505 (A.P).

Mr. Srinivasa Reddy, learned Public Prosecutor, submits that the conduct of the appellants-applicants in jail is satisfactory.

We have considered the materials on record. We note that the case of the appellants-applicants does not fall within the exceptions carved out in Batchu Ranga Rao (supra).

Taking note of the fact that the appellants- applicants have suffered more than five years' period of detention from the date of their conviction and there is no immediate possibility of the appeal being heard and that the conduct of the appellants-applicants in jail being satisfactory, we are inclined to suspend the sentence of imprisonment imposed on the appellants- applicants and enlarge them on bail in view of the directions contained in Batchu Ranga Rao (supra). Accordingly, the sentence of imprisonment imposed on the appellants-applicants is suspended and they shall be enlarged on bail on each of them executing a Sl. DATE ORDER OFFICE No. NOTE personal bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Central Prison, Rajahmundry, East Godavari District. The appellants- applicants shall appear before the trial Court once in a month till disposal of the appeal, failing which, the trial Court shall submit a report to this Court, whereupon t he bail granted to the appellants-applicants shall stand cancelled, in accordance with law.

With the above directions, this application stands disposed of.
