HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. RAGHUNANDAN RAO
WRIT PETITION No.8247 of 2021
ORDER:
Aggrieved by the opening of Suspect Sheet bearing No.1
of 2014, the petitioner had approached the Erstwhile High
Court at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra
Pradesh by way of W.P.No.22431 of 2018. This writ petition
was disposed of on 01.08.2018 with a liberty to the petitioner
to file an explanation / representation to the competent
authority, who was also directed to examine the
representation in the light of the law laid down by the High
Court in the Judgments cited therein. Accordingly, the
petitioner had given a representation on 01.03.2021. It is
submitted that there was a delay in giving the representation
on account of the fact that the petitioner had migrated to
Orissa and had come back to the State of Andhra Pradesh
recently. The petitioner is now aggrieved by the inaction of
the competent authority respondent No.2 Commissioner of
Police in passing the order.
In view of the aforesaid contentions, this writ petition is
disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to
consider and pass orders on the representation dated
01.03.2021 within two months from the date of receipt of a
copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any,
shall stand closed.
