Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.1, 5, 6, 7 & 8, Shri Anand Dwivedi, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.2 & 3 and Shri Mohit Chandra, Advocate holding for Shri Puneet Chandra, learned counsel for the respondent No.4.
There is a consensus at Bar that the matter in issue is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court passed in a bunch of petitions leading being Writ A No.1453 of 2014 in Re: Shiv Pratap Maurya and 667 Ors. Vs. State of U.P. and Ors. decided on 20.03.2024, a copy of which is annexure 6 to the petition.
Considering the aforesaid consensus, the writ petition is allowed.
It is provided that the petitioners of the instant case shall also be provided the benefit of the judgment of this Court in the case of Shiv Pratap Maurya (supra).
