Vakalatnama filed by Sri Neeraj Dube on behalf of respondent no.2 and Memo of appearance filed by Sri Ajay Singh on behalf of respondent no.1 are taken on record.

Petitioners by way of present petition seek following relief:

"Issue a writ of mandamus commanding the competent authority/Special Land Acquisition Officer, Saharanpur (respondent No.3), to forthwith pay/disburse the compensation amount to the petitioners/owners, in lieu of their acquired land i.e. stands determined and payable vide its order dated 11.08.2020 (Annexure No.8 ) passed U/s 3H (2) (3) of The National Highways Act, 1956, followed with compensation's judgment & award dt. 24/08/2018, prepared in consequent to the land acquisition notification(s) U/s 3A dt. 17/11/2017 & U/s 3D dt. 01/03/2018, of The National Highways Act, 1956, otherwise the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss & injury."

However, it transpired during course of hearing that with regard to dispute as to entitlement of compensation a Writ Petition No.14561 of 2020 is pending before this Court.

In the event thereof, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of petition.

Prayer is allowed.

Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.

Needless to say that in case of accrual of any fresh cause of action the petitioners will always be at liberty to seek redressal of their grievance in the court of law.
