Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and perused the record.

Present petition has been filed with following prayer:-

"I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing to the respondent authority after concealing the proposal dated 10.10.2020, taking action again according the rules, pass the new resolution and ensure the allotment of the fair price shop of village Jhanjhara Chaubey, Vikas Khand- Shankargarh, Tehsil- Bara, District- Prayagraj.

II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing to the respondent authorities do not allot fair price shop of village Jhanjhara Chaubey, Vikas Khand- Shankargarh, Tehsil- Bara, District- Prayagraj in pursuance of proposal/ resolution dated 10.10.2020.

III. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authority to take needful action on the representation/ complain of the petitioner as well as villagers."

In view of the judgment rendered in the case of Hari Pal vs. State of U.P. and Others (Case no. 16086 of 2020) decided along with other connected matters by Lucknow Bench of this Court vide judgment dated 24.5.2021, self- help group is no longer entitled for allotment of fair price shop.

Learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the fact that now self- help group is not entitled for any allotment. As such, the relief as prayed for in the petition cannot be granted.

Accordingly, present petition stands dismissed.
