Notices on behalf of opposite parties have been accepted by the office of the learned Chief Standing Counsel.

By means of this writ petition, the petitioners have assailed the eligibility list dated 18.03.2019 of Superintending Engineer (Civil) for promotion to the post of the Chief Engineer (Level-II) (Civil) in the Department of Irrigation and Water Resources on the ground that the petitioners despite being eligible, their names have not been included in the eligibility list.

List/ put up this case on 16.05.2019 in the additional cause list to enable the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel to seek complete instructions in the matter.
