Prof. Vinod Singh, Proctor, Lucknow University, Lucknow and Sri Kalanidhi Naithani, Senior Superintendent of Police, Lucknow are present.

The affidavit as required by order dated 16.07.2018 was filed on 06.08.2018 by the Vice-Chancellor of the Lucknow University.

In so far as the suggestions required from the concerned department of the State, Sri V.K. Shahi, learned Additional Advocate General has submitted that Committee has already been constituted under the Chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education, in which in all, there are 11 members and the said Committee is deliberating on issue and would be submitting the report within next 15 days. The suggestions given in the affidavit of the Vice-Chancellor have been provided to the Committee, which would also be taken into consideration by the Committee while giving its suggestions.

On the request of Sri Shahi, we fix the matter for 04.09.2018.

After considering the suggestions given, we will proceed further in the matter.

It has also come on record in the affidavit of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Lucknow that 12 assailants have already been arrested and further after filing of the affidavit two more assailants have been arrested.

By the next date, the affidavit may be filed by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Lucknow giving upto date progress in the investigation.

On the said date, the Proctor, Lucknow University, Lucknow and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Lucknow or any other responsible officer at the level of Superintendent of Police posted at Lucknow, shall remain present.
