Sri B.K. Shukla, learned counsel for the Chancellor, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, as per his instructions, informs that the counter affidavit has not been filed by the University Authority.

This matter pertains to the year 2015. 

No counter affidavit has been filed, whereas vide order dated 23.09.2015, learned counsel for the opposite parties were granted four weeks' time for filing the counter affidavit.

In the interest of justice, four weeks' further time and no more is granted to the learned counsel for the Chancellor, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, failing which, the Registrar of the University shall appear before this Court on 21.05.2018 along with record for assistance  and also show cause as to why the counter affidavit has not been filed till date.

List this case on 21.05.2018.

The Registry is directed to communicate this order to the Registrar, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut forthwith.
