The petitioner is challenging the process of selection in the Fine Arts department. The record has been produced today. The record reflects that the petitioner made a representation on 25.09.2017 which was received by the respondent-University and they sent a information to appear on 26.09.2017 that the interview was scheduled to be held on 3rd of November 2017. The record of the University showing the attendance of the people who attended the interview on 3rd of November 2017 is on record. The column recording the petitioner's name shows a blank. The petitioner did not attend the interview.
Learned counsel for the petitioner does not deny the fact that she knew that the interview was to be held on 3rd of November 2017 and she asked for deferment of the interview and also makes vague allegations as to how the other candidates without qualification were called. The allegations are not supported by any affidavit on oath.
In view of this, we allow the petitioner to file a better affidavit within next two weeks.
List after two weeks.
