We have heard Shri Ajay Shankar, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 3 and Shri Mahboob Ahmad, learned counsel for the respondent no.4 and 5.
The petitioner has disputed receipt of provisional assessment notice from the respondent nos.4 and 5. However, the copy of the same has been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner by Shri Mahboob Ahmad, learned counsel for the respondent nos.4 and 5 in court today. The petitioner may file his objection within next 15 days provided by the statute and the same shall be decided within thirty days thereafter.
For a period of two months or till the final decision is taken by the respondent nos.4 and 5 on the objection of the petitioner, whichever is earlier, no coercive measures shall be taken against the petitioner.
The petition is finally disposed of.
