Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Dharmendra Vaish, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent as well as Sri Rizwan Ahmad who has entered appearance on behalf of Union of India by filing his Parcha.
The grievance of the petitioners in the matter of their claim for compensation for crop loss under the National Agricultural Insurances Scheme (MNAIS), needs to be examined by the third respondent at the first instance.
Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to make a representation ventilating all their grievances before the third respondent within two weeks from today, along with a certified copy of this order. On such representation being made the third respondent shall call for the records and shall pass a reasoned and speaking order preferably within eight weeks.
