Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned standing counsel for the State.

Following reliefs have been sought through present writ petition:-

1.Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to the respondent no. 2 to take serious action against the illegal encroachment on gata no. 158 area 0.0690, 141 area 1.1580, 241 area 0.770, 278 area 0.5670, 146 area 0.0450, 165S area 0.1460 recorded in revenue record as Pond/Pokhari and arazi no. 279 area 0.1250 and 317 area 0.5750 recorded in the revenue record as a Bhita till date.

2. issue any other writ, order or direction, which this Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case.

3. Award the cost of this writ petition in favour of the petitioners.

After hearing rival submissions and considering the facts and circumstances of the matter, this petition is disposed of with observation that on application/petition filed by the petitioners, respondent no. 2,  as the case may be, will get the matter relating to  encroachment of public land of Gaon Sabha, decided expeditiously.
