Several writ petitions have been filed challenging the notice and allotment of the pool houses in the Police Department. In some of the cases, allegations have been made that the allotment procedure of the police accommodation are not transparent and fair.
Learned Standing Counsel may produce the original documents in respect of total number of police accommodation, number of vacant accommodation, number of accommodations which are unauthorizedly occupied by the persons who have been transferred from the district and number of total applications. He will also produce the Government Order/Circular/Guidelines, if any, in respect of the allotment of the Police Accommodation.
The said instruction and the original record be produced before this Court on 17.05.2016.
The Senior Superintendent of Police will ensure to send the original record with some responsible officer.
