The appellant appeared in person along with her father, minor child and her counsel. The respondent could not appear.
Learned counsel for the respondent states that the respondent is posted as a Junior Engineer in Irrigation Department at Mauranipur Jhansi and due to some unavoidable reason, he could not come. Learned counsel for the respondent submitted that after passing of the order by the Family Court, the respondent has remarried.
Learned counsel for the appellant submitted that at present the appellant is getting a sum of Rs.2,500/- towards her maintenance and Rs.2,000/- towards the maintenance of her son. The amount is insufficient to meet the expenses. She further submitted that she needs a house to live and a reasonable amount to survive. It is further submitted that the aforesaid amount is not being paid regularly.
This aspect of the matter shall be examined on the next date.
List on 25.9.2014. On that day, both the parties shall appear in person. The respondent shall pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the appellant towards cost for inconvenience caused to her by the next date.
