Heard learned counsel for the petitioners  and learned A.G.A.

This petition has been filed by the petitioners Akhtar & 2 Others  with a prayer to quash the impugned FIR of case crime No. 66 of 2014 under sections 3//5/8 U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act P.S.  Maheshganj, District Pratapgarh.

From the perusal of the FIR it appears that on the basis of allegation made therein the prima facie cognizable offence is made out. There is no scope of interfering in the impugned FIR. Therefore, the prayer for quashing the FIR is refused.

However, considering the facts, it is directed that in case petitioners appear before the court concerned within 30 days from today and apply for bail, the same shall be heard and disposed of expeditiously if possible on the same day by the courts below.

With this direction, this petition is finally disposed of.
