The Committee of Management of Faiz-E-Aam Modern Degree College, Mathura and its Secretary have filed this petition for a direction upon the District Social Welfare Officer, Mathura to release the admission fees of 132 students who were admitted under the Schedule Castes/Scheduled Tribes category in the petitioner Institution in the Academic Session 2010-11.

It transpires from the records of the writ petition that for this relief, the petitioner Institution has sent the representations followed by reminder dated 26th June, 2013 but it is stated that till date neither the fees has been reimbursed and nor any decision has been taken.

Learned Standing Counsel appears for respondent nos.1 and 2, while Sri Sanjay Kumar Singh appears for respondent no.3.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents states that the District Social Welfare Officer, Mathura shall take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioners expeditiously.

This writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the District Social Welfare Officer, Mathura to examine the matter and take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioners expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed by the petitioners.

It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the case which shall be examined by the District Social Welfare Officer, Mathura in accordance with law.
