    Pursuant to the Order dated 22nd August, 2012, the case is listed today.

    A Supplementary Counter Affidavit-I has been filed today on behalf of the respondent no.2 alongwith an Application.

    Registry is directed to give appropriate number to the aforesaid Application.

    Pursuant to the directions given in the said Order dated 22.8.2012 , Shri Amar Pratap Singh, Varisth Lekha Adhikari, Raksha Lekha Pradhan Niyantrak, Pension, Allahabad (respondent no.2) is personally present before the Court, and he is identified by his counsel, Shri Ram Krishna Mishra.

    Shri Ram Krishna Mishra, learned counsel for the respondent no.2, on the basis of instructions received by him, states that pursuant to the sanction for payment of Life Time Arrears of Pension having been granted, as mentioned in the Order dated 22.8.2012, Life Time Arrears of Pension has since been paid to the petitioner,  and nothing remains due in respect of the Life Time Arrears of Pension.

    Shri Mridul Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, on the basis of instructions received by him, also states that the petitioner has received the entire Life Time Arrears of Pension, as claimed in the Writ Petition, and the relief sought in the Writ Petition, therefore, stands granted.

    In view of the statements made above, it is evident that the relief sought by the petitioner in the Writ Petition stands granted. No further orders are, therefore, required to be passed in the Writ Petition.

    The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
