Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

The petitioner attained the age of superannuation on 31.7.2006, but his post retiral dues have not been paid.  The disciplinary proceeding initiated against the petitioner was concluded in the year 2007 and the petitioner has been exonerated from the charges levelled against him.

With regard to his grievance, the petitioner has already made a representation to the respondents.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Lucknow to look into the matter and take a decision with regard to payment of post retiral dues by passing a speaking and reasoned order within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.  The decision so taken shall be communicated to the petitioner. Liberty is given to the petitioner to make fresh representation. 

Subject to above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
