About the Organisation
MAYA is a not-for-profit initiative aimed at addressing sexual violence through awareness and community dialogue. We have successfully worked with more than 2000 children and caregivers across 40+ institutions. We have also released two easy-access guides on understanding sexual violence.
Recently, we submitted comments to the IT Ministry on intermediary liability for AI-facilitated sexual violence. In the past, we have collaborated with organisations such as IDIA and Rotaract. MAYA was founded by Anjana Palamand, who is a final-year law student at Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
