About Advocate Komal Pensia

Advocate Komal Pensia is an independent legal professional currently practising criminal and civil law, with balanced experience gained from the District Courts and the High Court. Advocate Pensia is deeply committed to legal education and professional development, regularly engaging with students and peers through meaningful learning sessions.

This commitment is underpinned by a foundation of ongoing academic learning, including the pursuit of an LL.M. degree, ensuring that the guidance provided to interns is both practically relevant and academically sound. Applications are now invited to extend structured, online learning opportunities to aspiring legal minds.

About the Internship

Two categories of online internships are being offered:

Online Legal Writing & Blogging Internship

  • Interns will engage in structured legal research and develop writing skills through blogs, articles, and opinion pieces.
  • The internship is designed to improve analytical thinking, clarity in legal writing, and exposure to publication processes.
  • Selected works may also be published on the official website.

Online Drafting & Practice Internship

  • Interns will work on understanding and preparing drafts of legal documents, petitions, and notices.
  • The focus is on bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world legal practice.
  • Interns will receive guided tasks that mimic professional drafting assignments.

Eligibility

Law students (any year of study, UG/PG) with an interest in legal writing, research, drafting and practice.

Location

Online (remote internship).

Duration & Timelines

Internships are offered monthly. To apply for an internship in a given month, applications must be submitted by the 15th of the previous month.

Work Timings

Flexible, but with regular submissions and mentor guidance.

Stipend

This is an unpaid internship. Selected interns will be provided with a certificate of completion, guided mentorship, and LOR, if applicable.

Interested students can apply through the official internship portal mentioned at the end of this post. 

Number of Positions available

A total of 10 interns per month (per internship category) will be onboarded. 2 positions (per internship category) are reserved for candidates belonging to the transgender/LGBTQIA+ community.

Deadlines

The last date to apply for any given month is the 15th of the previous month.
