ABOUT ISLR

Indian Society for Legal Research (ISLR) is a rapidly growing community of niche academicians, thinkers, activists, lawyers, professors, legal volunteers, paralegals and legal entrepreneurs who stand apart from the rest of the community with their zeal for deep thinking, leadership skills, and dedication for bringing innovation to the legal field.

ISLR is looking to expand its Editorial Team, and thereby invite applications for the below- mentioned categories:

The editorial committee of ISLR will be responsible for editing and publishing newsletters, journals and books by ISLR. In addition to this will also be a blog team that will be responsible for the upcoming ISLR BLOG.

Remuneration: Unpaid

Type of work: Online

Senior Associate Editor(s)

Who can apply: Law Students/ graduates from recognized universities/colleges having Past Editorial board experience/ personal publications are suggested to apply. (students in their 3rd year or above for five-year law programs and 2nd year or above for three-year law programs will be considered for this position.) (NOTE- Past editorial experience will be considered for
this position)

Associate Editor(s)

Blog Editor(s)

Who can apply: Law Students/graduates from recognized universities/colleges having Past Editorial board experience/personal publications are suggested to apply. Prior editorial experience is not a necessary condition to apply.

Following this, a few candidates will be shortlisted for a telephonic interview. Duration of editorial board membership: Around 6 months (this could be extended on the basis of performance)
