Current tussle is qua a Bill to regularise 15,000 guest teachers of government schools.
On Wednesday, while alleging that the Lt Governor Anil Baijal is hiding certain documents from his ministers, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said in State Assembly that he is an elected CM of Delhi and not a terrorist.
Then then pointing towards to his Deputy CM Manish Sisodia added that,"He is elected Education Minister of Delhi and he's not a terrorist."
Chief Minister made these comments during discussion on the Bill to regularise the 15,000 guest teachers of the Govt. Schools.
On Tuesday, Baijal had stated that Bill to regularise the guest teachers was "beyond legislative competence" of Assembly and had asked Kejriwal to reconsider the introduction of legislation in the House and that it was a matter on which Lt. Governor was required to act on his discretion.
On Wednesday, Kejriwal stated that files regarding the guest teachers were being hidden from his ministers. "What does LG Sir want to hide? Why is he denying?" he asked.
He further added that,"Is there any state secret in these files and we look like terrorists and you worry that if we get this secret we'll do something with it?".
CM Arvind Kejriwal remarked that,"We are not the terrorists and if you hide the files from us, then history will remember that your intentions were wrong and you ruined Delhi," .
